The Mantua Town Council has canceled and rescheduled a public hearing regarding the 2006 and 2024 Utah Wildland-Urban Interface (WUI) Code, according to a notice posted August 20. The hearing was originally scheduled for an earlier date but has been postponed.
The rescheduled public hearing is scheduled for Thursday, September 17, 2026, at 5:30 PM. The meeting will be held at Mantua Town Hall, located at 409 S Main St, Mantua, UT 84324.
The purpose of the hearing is to receive public input and comments concerning the implementation and updates of the 2006 and 2024 Utah Wildland-Urban Interface Codes within the jurisdiction of Mantua. Interested members of the public are invited to attend, and written comments may be submitted to the Town Recorder before the meeting date.
The hearing may include electronic or telephone participation for Council members in accordance with Utah Code Annotated 52-4-207.
