The Mantua Town Council is scheduled to hold a formal public hearing on Thursday, September 17, 2026, to discuss proposed wildland-urban interface regulations, according to a notice published August 31.
The meeting is scheduled for 5:30 PM at the Mantua Town Hall located at 409 North Main Street. The hearing focuses on Ordinance No. 2026-09-17, which seeks to adopt the 2006 and 2024 versions of the Utah Wildland Urban Interface Code. This ordinance is intended to regulate and govern the mitigation of hazards to life and property resulting from wildland fire exposure in Mantua's urban-wildland interface areas.
