Syracuse Junior High has announced upcoming events for incoming 7th graders and their families to prepare for the upcoming school year.
Incoming 7th graders are invited to attend Seahawk Bootcamp on August 18 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. to help them become familiar with the school, meet staff, and prepare for junior high.
During the Seahawk Bootcamp, students will be issued their school-issued laptops for use while at the school.
However, students will only receive their laptops early if a parent or guardian has signed the DSD Discretionary Protection Plan for Electronic Devices, which is located on the MyDSD account under Sign Documents.
All families are also invited to attend the Back-to-School Night Open House on August 18 from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. This event provides an opportunity for families to meet teachers, find classrooms, and learn about the upcoming school year.
The school expressed excitement about welcoming students back and looks forward to the upcoming school year.
