Grand County commissioners voted 5-2 on July 21 to allow organizers of a new three-day off-highway vehicle gathering to move forward with the county’s permitting process after debating its potential effects on residents and benefits to the tourism economy. Off-highway vehicles travel along Main Street in Moab.
