TOOELE COUNTY, Utah, June 9, 2026 (Gephardt Daily) — Tooele County's South Mountain Fire, estimated at 200 acres Monday night, has grown to an estimated 1,000 to 2,000 acres Tuesday morning. It remains at zero percent contained, and wind gusts are up to 55mph are expected, according to information from Utah Fire Info.
