A Salt Lake man convicted for the 2018 murder of 20-year-old Candance Samples was sentenced to life without parole in the Utah State Prison. The sentencing comes just over a month after the man, Kidus Yohannes, was found guilty of first-degree felony aggravated murder and third-degree felony manslaughter following a three-day trial.
