Hunters are again being asked to bring their harvested deer to various check stations across Utah during this fall’s hunts so DWR biologists can test the animals for chronic wasting disease in an effort to better track the disease in the state. The DWR will provide free CWD tests for deer harvested from the Book Cliffs, Vernal/Bonanza and Diamond Mountain units.
