RIVERTON, Utah, Aug. 7, 2026 (Gephardt Daily) — A man armed with a shotgun was fatally shot by an armed bystander at a Riverton gas station after he allegedly threatened the clerk, left the store and returned with the weapon, police said. First responders were dispatched to the shooting Friday at 3:41 p.m.
