HOLDEN, Utah, June 27, 2026 (Gephardt Daily) — A fast-moving wildfire closed U.S. Highway 50 between Scipio and Aurora early Saturday as numerous homes south of Scipio remained under evacuation orders. The Wild Goose Fire, burning near Holden, was estimated at 400 acres in a 10 p.m. Friday update posted by Utah Fire Info.
