It took a few days but National Weather Service out of Grand Junction, Colorado, issued a report on the tornado a week ago near Jensen, confirming that it was in fact a tornado. “On the evening of September 18, 2026, several severe thunderstorms formed in portions of Uintah County, Utah,” shares the announcement.
