The Bureau of Land Management has withdrawn its June decision approving formal aircraft use at 10 backcountry airstrips in southeastern Utah, leaving the proposal under agency review. Vegetation covers the proposed Red Canyon airstrip, one of 10 southeastern Utah landing sites included in a Bureau of Land Management approval the agency has since withdrawn.
