A 7-year-old boy remained in critical condition Monday after he was struck by a vehicle Saturday evening in Spanish Fork. Spanish Fork police said officers, firefighters and EMS crews responded to the crash near 875 North Spanish Fork Parkway at about 7:13 p.m. Oct. 31.
Witnesses told authorities that the child was wearing dark clothing and wearing a mask and that, for reasons still unknown, he attempted to cross the road mid-block when he was struck. Upon arrival, officers determined that the minor had been hit by a vehicle traveling south on Spanish Fork Parkway.
