The Kanab City Planning Commission scheduled a public hearing for a zone change application on Tuesday, September 1, 2026. The meeting was set for 6:30 PM at the Kanab City Council Chambers within the Kanab City Complex.
The application involves a zone change for Parcel/s K-7-8-Annex from C3 Commercial to R-1-10 Residential Single Family, 10,000 sq.ft. min. The parcel is located approximately at 664 E Chinle Dr. in Kanab City.
If the zone change is approved, the future plan includes the ability to split the lot and would not require a private road, which is a requirement for commercial lots.
The hearing was held at 26 N. 100 E. Kanab Utah. All interested persons were given the opportunity to appear and be heard at the scheduled time and place.
