Ten hospitals within HCA Healthcare’s Mountain Division earned recognitions from Healthgrades for safety, quality, and patient-centered care. These facilities, located across Alaska, Idaho, and Utah, received various awards and 5-star designations for their performance in medical specialties and patient experience.
Four Mountain Division facilities received the 2026 Patient Safety Excellence Award, which is presented to the top 10% of hospitals nationwide based on patient outcomes. The recipients included West Valley Medical Center in Caldwell, Idaho, and Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls, Idaho, as well as St. Mark’s Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah, and Ogden Regional Medical Center in Ogden, Utah. These hospitals were among 92 HCA Healthcare facilities to receive the recognition.
Two facilities were named recipients of the 2026 Outstanding Patient Experience Award, which recognizes the top 15% of hospitals nationwide. West Valley Medical Center and Mountain View Hospital in Payson, Utah, received this honor based on HCAHPS patient survey data. West Valley Medical Center was one of only 80 hospitals recognized for both Patient Safety Excellence and Outstanding Patient Experience.
Ten Mountain Division hospitals also received awards or 5-star designations through the Healthgrades Specialty Excellence program. Alaska Regional Hospital was named one of America’s 100 Best Hospitals for Spine Surgery and received the 2026 Healthgrades Spine Surgery Excellence Award.

Cache Valley Hospital for sepsis treatment.
Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center for pacemaker procedures, hip fracture treatment, sepsis treatment, heart attack treatment, defibrillator procedures, carotid procedures, and diabetic hospitalization treatment.
Lakeview Hospital for spinal fusion surgery, pacemaker procedures, and hip fracture treatment.
Mountain View Hospital for total knee replacement, sepsis treatment, heart failure treatment, hip fracture treatment, and spinal fusion surgery.
Ogden Regional Medical Center for hip fracture treatment, sepsis treatment, carotid procedures, and gallbladder removal surgery.
St. Mark’s Hospital for pacemaker procedures, hip fracture treatment, gallbladder removal surgery, colorectal surgery, and sepsis treatment.
Timpanogos Regional Hospital for hip fracture treatment and gallbladder removal surgery.
West Valley Medical Center for sepsis treatment and heart failure treatment.
