Lagoon's upcoming schedule shows the park will be open for visitors on Saturday, August 29, from 10 AM to 9 PM. Following that, the park will operate from 10 AM to 7 PM on Sunday, August 30. The park is scheduled to be closed on Monday, August 31, and Tuesday, September 1.
2026 Parking Rates and Rules
The park's 2026 parking rates include $20.00 for regular parking and $30.00 for oversized or RV parking. Guests seeking preferred parking can pay $35.00 per vehicle, while a Season Parking Pass is available for $85.00. According to Lagoon, the auto park opens 30 minutes before the scheduled park opening time.
Lagoon accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover, though the park does not accept checks. The park notes that no overnight parking is permitted. Vehicles parked in unauthorized or no-parking areas are subject to being booted or towed at the owner's expense, with a maximum cost of $145.00 under Utah law.
Admission and Ticketing Policies
Lagoon's admission policies for 2026 include specific guidelines for children and height-based pricing. Children under 24 months of age may enter the park and participate in suitable rides, Lagoon A Beach, and Frightmares free of charge. However, children turning 25 months of age or older during the 2026 season require a Season Passport or Single Day Passport for admission.
Admission pricing is determined by height rather than age. Guests under 48 inches in height qualify for a Youth ticket, while those 48 inches and above are considered Regular Riders and require a Regular ticket. Regarding ticketing, Lagoon recommends purchasing tickets directly through their website or authorized partners to ensure validity. The park stated it cannot guarantee the authenticity of tickets purchased through third-party resellers like Craigslist, Offer-Up, or KSL, and invalid or counterfeit tickets may be confiscated without compensation.
Guest Food and Item Policies
The park maintains strict policies regarding prohibited items and guest conduct. Face make-up, costumes (including zip-up onesies), and Halloween masks are not allowed. While guests are permitted to bring outside food and drink into the park, these items are prohibited inside Lagoon A Beach, the Lagoon Biergarten & Restaurant, and cannot be left unattended in coolers. Alcohol is also prohibited inside Lagoon A Beach and the Biergarten & Restaurant, though it is sold at the Biergarten located south of the Roller Coaster.
Lagoon also prohibits guests from bringing BBQ grills into the park, and no grills are available for guest use. For those visiting Lagoon A Beach, tube rentals are available for $5.00, or $2.00 for Season Passport holders who present proper identification. Swim diapers and reusable covers are sold at Ruby's Tubes inside the entrance to Lagoon A Beach for $1.00 each.

The park features a variety of dining locations across several themed areas. In the Midway area, guests can find Mix It Up, Midway Munchies, Beaver Tails, Big John’s Shake Shack, or Goodies. The South End offers I Scream U Scream, Wicked Snowie, and Zeppes South, along with Shake it Up, the Lagoon Biergarten and Restaurants, and Corn Dog Corner.
In the North Area, guests can visit Arby’s, Subway, Lagoon’s Burger Express, Honolulu Hot Dog, Dippin’ Dots, or Sip into Paradise. The Pioneer Village area features Arby’s, Rattlesnake Grub, Grandma Christie’s, PV Ice Cream Parlor, Bakery Fresh, and Fiiz. Other dining areas include Coca-Cola Plaza, which offers pizza, pretzels, chicken, funnel cake, and Ice, and the Old Mill Grill, which serves meat, mashed potatoes, and BBQ beans, including vegetarian options like roasted corn on the cob. Carousel Plaza hosts various stands including Carousel Real Potato, Carousel Burger, Carousel Ice Cream Corner, Dippin’ Dots Central, Carousel Polar Ice, Carousel Mexican Hat, and Carousel Pizza.

Lagoon provides a warning regarding food allergies, noting that all products may contain or may have been exposed to dairy, eggs, wheat, nuts, tree nuts, and shellfish. The park stated it cannot guarantee that allergens were not introduced during the food supply chain or during preparation. Additionally, the park noted that it does not have separate kitchens for allergen-free items or separate dining areas for guests with allergies or intolerances. All food prices are subject to Utah State and Davis County Restaurant Tax.

Lagoon is located 17 miles north of Salt Lake City and 17 miles south of Ogden. For northbound travelers, the park is accessible via the 200 West exit (#322), and for southbound travelers, the Park Lane exit (#325) provides access.
