The Farmington City Council will hold a regular meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2026, according to a notice published Aug. 27. The meeting is scheduled to take place at City Hall, located at 160 South Main in Farmington, Utah.
A combined work session with the Planning Commission is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. in Conference Room 3. This session will include a land use training presented by Attorney Steve Noel, a discussion of regular session items upon request, and reports from Mayor Anderson and the City Council.
The regular session will begin at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers. Business items on the agenda include culinary water restrictions and a proposed fee schedule change, a rezoning request for the Avocet Subdivision, and an amendment regarding the Glovers Lane right-of-way. The council will also consider the South Davis Greenway Final Report and various amendments to Title 11, Planning and Zoning.
Additional action items for the meeting include the consideration of interlocal agreements with the Davis County Storm Water Coalition and Davis County for fire and EMS services for abutting unincorporated county areas. The council is also slated to approve minutes from July 21, Aug. 4, and Aug. 18, 2026, and review the monthly financial report for July 2026.
