The Farr West City Council is scheduled to hold a regular meeting on Thursday, Sept. 3, 2026, according to a notice published August 28. The meeting will take place at 6:30 p.m. at the Farr West City Hall, located at 1896 North 1800 West.
The meeting, which is expected to end by 8:30 p.m., will be called to order by Mayor David Bolos. The agenda includes an opening ceremony, public comments, and a report from the Planning Commission.
Council members will consider several business items, including the approval of minutes from August 20, 2026, and bills dated Sept. 2, 2026. The council will also review business license requests for Fastenal Company, David Ravy, Chugg Cattle, LLC, and Wasatch Crane LLC.
Zoning and land use items on the agenda include requests for conditional use permits for accessory buildings over 2,000 square feet for Troy Oram and Richard Dickerson. Additionally, the council will consider a re-zone for the Hector Coronado and Efrain Herrera property from A-1 to C-2 Commercial, and Ordinance No. 2026-16 regarding the re-zone of the Petersen Inc property from A-1 to M-1 Manufacturing Zone.
Other business items include an amendment to the general plan for several parcels to allow for M-1 Manufacturing zoning, a conditional use permit for a new production line building for Petersen Inc, and an amendment to the residential solid waste and recycle material collection and disposal agreement with Econo Waste, Inc.
