The St. George Planning Commission is scheduled to hold a meeting on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, to consider various land use amendments and residential developments, according to a September 18 notice.
The meeting, which begins at 5:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at 61 S Main St, includes several public hearings regarding planned development amendments.
Agenda items include a request to amend the Ledges St George zone plan on 1,108 acres to reallocate unit counts without changing the total unit count. The applicant for this project is DSG Engineering, represented by Logan Blake.
Another public hearing will consider an amendment for the Les Schwab Tire Center to allow construction of an 8,208 square foot shop at the Lin's Market River Road PD-C zone. Graham Engineering is the applicant for this project, represented by Zack Graham.
Additionally, the commission will hear a request from The Plastics Clinic to amend the Fields at Mall Drive Phase 2, PD-C zone for a professional and medical office building of approximately 45,000 square feet. Greg Goffin is the representative for the applicant.
The agenda also includes a request to amend the Rusty Cliffs South development to reduce the number of homes from 380 to 294 on a 49-acre site. This project is being submitted by DSG Engineering, with Logan Blake and Stacy Young acting as representatives.
Furthermore, the commission will consider a request for a 70-lot preliminary plat for a residential subdivision in the Desert Canyons development area, submitted by DSG Engineering and represented by Ken Miller.
The meeting will also include the approval of minutes from the September 8, 2026, meeting. No City Council actions were noted as having occurred since the previous Planning Commission meeting.
