Eagle Mountain residents could explore employment opportunities through job fairs held in August and September. These events provided connections to employers, recruiters, and hiring professionals, while the Utah Department of Workforce Services offered local employment assistance.
The Utah Valley Job Fair was scheduled for Tuesday, August 25, from 2 to 5 PM at the Utah Valley Convention Center, located at 220 W. Center St. in Provo. This free, in-person event allowed job seekers to meet recruiters, human resources professionals, and hiring managers face-to-face to explore open positions and learn about employer requirements.
In addition to the in-person event, Utah’s Statewide Virtual Job Fair was set for Thursday, September 10, from 10 AM to 1 PM. This virtual event was open to all job seekers, with priority service available to veterans, military members, and spouses. To participate, individuals were directed to visit jobs.utah.gov to sign in to My Job Search and select the event from their dashboard.
A job fair preparation workshop was also scheduled for the day before the virtual event at 10 AM and 1 PM.
The Utah Department of Workforce Services provided free weekly assistance in Eagle Mountain. Counselors were available every Wednesday from 1 to 4 PM to provide one-on-one support for job searches, resumes, interviews, and career exploration.
