The Iron County Planning Commission and Iron County Commission are scheduled to hold public hearings to consider a proposed zone change for a property in Beryl, according to an August 19 report.
The application seeks to change the zoning of approximately 5.11 acres from Commercial (C) to Residential 5 Acre (R-5). The property, owned by Agustin J. Plascencia-Lopez and Isabel Plascencia Fuentes, is located in Section 12, T35S, R18W, SLB&M, near 6900 W and Highway 56 in Beryl, Utah.
The Planning Commission was scheduled to meet for a recommendation on the zone change on Thursday, September 3, 2026, at 5:30 PM at Festival Hall, located at 105 N 100 E (2nd floor) in Cedar City. The County Commission was scheduled to meet on Monday, September 14, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the Iron County Courthouse, located at 68 S 100 E in Parowan.
