Ashley Regional Medical Center recently welcomed two new family nurse practitioners to its growing care team. The addition of these providers aims to expand access to comprehensive, high-quality care within the community.
Wendy Dunn, FNP-C, joined the medical center providing services across several areas including Family Medicine, Wound Care, and the Workpoint Clinic. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner focus from Western Governors University and possesses more than ten years of nursing experience. Her practice includes specialty wound care and DOT physicals.
Craig Nielsen, FNP, also joined the care team. A native of the Uintah Basin, Nielsen has professional experience in correctional healthcare at the Davis County Jail and in the Intensive Care Unit at LDS Hospital. He provides services for occupational health needs at the Workpoint Clinic and serves as a provider in the Primary Care Walk-in Clinic.
Alan Olive, CEO of Ashley Regional Medical Center, stated that welcoming these providers allows the facility to continue expanding access to essential services. He noted that their experience and connection to the Uintah Basin strengthen the ability to provide accessible care close to home.
