The University of Colorado ski team completed several competitive events during the 2026 season, including performances at Utah Olympic Park and Soldier Hollow. The program achieved multiple top finishes in disciplines such as slalom and freestyle skiing.
In competition at Utah Olympic Park, the team secured a first-place finish in the slalom event on March 13, 2026. The team also placed first in the giant slalom event at the same venue on March 11, 2026.
At Soldier Hollow, the team recorded a second-place finish in the 20K freestyle event on March 14, 2026. Additional finishes at Soldier Hollow included a second-place finish in the 7.5K classic event on March 12, 2026, and a third-place finish in both the 7.5K classic and slalom events on February 27, 2026.
The program also received academic honors, with eight Buffaloes earning CSC Academic-District honors and Accambray earning CSC Academic All-America honors. Additionally, the team finished second at the NCAA Ski Championships.
Other recent developments for the program include the contract extension for head ski coach Jana Weinberger and Ryan Lochhead being named the RMISA Alpine Coach of the Year.
