The Elwood Town Planning Commission is scheduled to hold a meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2026, at 7:00 PM, according to a September 14 notice. The meeting will be held at the Elwood Town Hall located at 5235 West 8800 North in Elwood, Utah.
The agenda for the meeting includes the review and discussion of written and verbal objections concerning the proposed zoning map and ordinances. Additionally, the commission is scheduled to recommend amendments to the Elwood Town Zoning Map and several ordinances, including 155.126, 155.140-143, 155.155-158, 155.170-174, 155.185-192, 155.205-210, and 155.225-235, to the Town Council.
Britton Hayden, the Commission Chair, will lead the meeting with a welcome, prayer, and pledge. The commission will also review minutes from the August 4, 2026, and August 18, 2026, meetings.
Residents attending the meeting will be allowed three minutes to express concerns or ask questions regarding issues not included on the agenda. The notice stated that no action can be taken on issues presented during this public comment period. Residents may also submit written comments to the commission via email at kmunns@elwoodtown.com.
