Maeser Preparatory Academy has issued several campus updates regarding upcoming deadlines and scheduled school events. The notice includes information on tuition payments, testing requirements, and various extracurricular activities scheduled for October.
Several deadlines are approaching for students and parents. CE tuition is due Oct. 26, while parental exclusion forms for the PSAT and ASVAB sign-ups are both due Oct. 12. Additionally, Lands’ End uniforms are available for up to 40% off until Oct. 13 using a specific discount code.
On Oct. 14, Maeser will host PSAT and Aptitude Day. This day is reserved for 11th-grade students taking the PSAT and other students taking the ASVAB; because of this, there will be no school for students in grades 7, 8, 9, 10, and 12 on that day. The school is also requesting volunteers to provide breakfast and snacks for the juniors during their testing session.
The school calendar includes several upcoming events and academic milestones. The first term ends on Oct. 13. Fall Break will result in no school on Oct. 15 and 16.
Scheduled activities include a Middle School Fall Festival and a drive-in movie on Oct. 9. Other upcoming events include an HS Girls Basketball meeting on Oct. 12, a choir concert on Oct. 12, and MS Girls Basketball tryouts scheduled for Oct. 19 and 20. A Trunk or Treat event is scheduled for Oct. 30.
Maeser Prep offers various academic and extracurricular support services. The math lab is available for tutoring in room 302 before school and room 103 after school, Monday through Thursday. Additionally, the National Honor Society hosts a weekly Study Hall on Wednesdays from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in room 205.
For more information regarding school business or specific inquiries, parents can contact the school via the official website or reach out to specific departments, such as the counseling team for donations or the finance office regarding tuition.
