Maeser Prep released a series of school updates in a report published September 17, detailing changes to lunch ordering, upcoming school events, and academic deadlines. The announcement included a postponement for the Homecoming Legacy Concert and new procedures for student parking passes.
The school has transitioned its lunch ordering process away from Google forms. All pre-ordered lunches for Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday must now be prepaid through RevTrak. The ordering window for the following week opens on Thursday at 6:00 PM and closes on Sunday at 6:00 PM. While most lunches require pre-payment, Pizza Wednesday remains a cash-only, in-person purchase option.
The Homecoming Legacy Concert, originally scheduled for Friday, September 18, has been postponed because the sound and lighting systems in the new auditorium are not yet fully functional. School officials are working to confirm October 23 as the rescheduled date for the performance.
Other upcoming activities include a Farmer's Market on Friday, September 18, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and a Homecoming Dance on Saturday, September 19, from 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM at Stone Gate Events. Additionally, independent study Winterim applications are due by September 18.
Regarding student transportation, Maeser Prep will begin patrolling the parking lot starting next week to issue tickets to vehicles without a $10 parking pass. Students are reminded that the south lot is reserved for faculty members.
Financial deadlines include class fees due on Thursday, October 1 at 4:00 PM. The school also noted that the Maeser Board will now meet on the second Wednesday of each month at 7:00 PM in the Maeser Library.
