A 22-year-old woman riding a motorcycle was critically injured in a Tuesday afternoon collision near the mouth of Ogden Canyon, according to a October 27 report by Gephardt Daily.
The collision occurred at approximately 2:45 p.m. at the intersection of Canyon Road and Valley Drive. Preliminary information from the Ogden City Police indicates the motorcyclist was traveling eastbound on Canyon Road when she collided with a vehicle turning from Valley Drive onto westbound Canyon Road.
Although the rider was wearing a helmet, she was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. The driver of the second vehicle remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators. The Weber Metro CRASH Team is currently handling the investigation.
