Two high school students have been gaining valuable industry experience through internships in engineering and skilled trades this semester.
The internship programs provide opportunities for students to explore various career pathways while still enrolled in high school.
Zak Clegg, a junior at Springville High School, has been interning with Lonestar Fabrication. His work includes contributing to projects such as welding railings, stairs, and other custom metal work.
Eli Lewis, a senior at Spanish Fork High School, has been completing an internship with Atlas Engineering. During his time there, he has been visiting different job sites and learning about the various responsibilities found within the structural and civil engineering fields.
The Nebo School District expressed appreciation to the industry partners for investing in students and helping them explore potential careers.
