The West Jordan Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, to review several development applications, according to a August 28 notice. The meeting is scheduled for 6:00 pm at West Jordan City Hall, located on the 3rd floor of 8000 S. Redwood Rd.
The hearing will address three specific items for public comment. Carver Construction has applied for a conditional use permit for outside storage and operations at 5577 W Leo Park Rd in the Light Manufacturing (M-1) Zone.
Peterson Development is seeking a future land use map amendment and rezoning for Highlands Landing North, a 9.4-acre site at 7592 South 5490 West. The request involves changing the land use from Very Low Density Residential, Parks and Open Land and Community Commercial to Medium Density Residential and Community Commercial, and rezoning from RR-1-D and SC-2 to R-3-8 and SC-2.
Additionally, Boulder Ventures has submitted a preliminary site plan for The Marlowe, located at 3247 West Jordan Loop Lane, within the Planned Community (P-C) Zone.
