A male driver was pronounced dead at the scene following a semi-truck crash on I-84 in Morgan County early Thursday morning.
At approximately 0206 hours on July 16th, an eastbound semi-truck carrying apples was traveling near milepost 108 when it failed to negotiate a left-hand curve and overturned on the roadway.
The driver of the truck was unrestrained and was ejected from the vehicle during the crash.
A male passenger was sleeping in the truck at the time of the incident but was uninjured, according to officials.
Lane two of I-84 is expected to remain closed for most of the day while crews work to remove the truck and clean up the spilled cargo.
Traffic is expected to be minimally impacted by the closure.
