Joaquín Valiente contributed a goal and two assists for Dallas. Valiente scored in the 17th minute following a pass from Ramiro Benetti, and Musa scored a header three minutes later with assists from Valiente and Bernard Kamungo. Musa's second goal of the match came in the final minute of regulation to give Dallas a 3-1 halftime lead, assisted by Valiente.
