Elleshia Anne Seymour, 35, disappeared from West Jordan, Utah, with four children after posting apocalyptic religious videos on social media. The disappearance has triggered a federal investigation and led to charges of four felony counts of custodial interference against Seymour.
Surveillance footage obtained by ABC4 showed Seymour ushering the children onto a one-way Delta Airlines flight from Salt Lake City to Europe on Nov. 30. The children include Landon Hale Seymour, 11; Levi Parker Seymour, 8; Hazel Rae Seymour, 7; and Jacob Kurt Brady, 3.
Prior to the disappearance, Seymour had posted extreme religious messages on TikTok with titles such as Urgent Word, Brace Yourself, Zombies, and US Decimated. In the videos, she claimed to receive messages from God and warned that Salt Lake City would soon be destroyed, urging followers to stockpile food, water, and firewood.
Kendall Seymour, who shared joint custody of three of the children, stated that Seymour flew to Amsterdam following a Thanksgiving custody break. While Seymour later called one of the children's fathers claiming to be in France, the FBI indicated the call was likely an attempt to mislead the family.
The Utah Department of Public Safety issued an Endangered and Missing Advisory for the children on Dec. 10. Kendall Seymour reported that he discovered something was wrong after a babysitter contacted him in a panic regarding the children's disappearance.
Seymour left two notes at her home, including a message claiming she would be in Italy by Christmas and a list involving the purchase of a prepaid burner phone and the discarding of her phone. Kendall Seymour believes Seymour may have forged his signature on notarized documents to obtain passports for the children.
Kendall Seymour has created a GoFundMe to assist with emergency travel costs to Europe to locate the children. He has urged others to share the children's photos and contact law enforcement immediately with any information regarding the whereabouts of Seymour or the four children.
