The Brigham City Library has opened registration for its summer reading challenge and upcoming storytime sessions, offering various activities for children, teens, and adults throughout the season.
Summer Reading Challenge Details
The library's summer reading challenge, themed "Unearth a Story," is currently accepting participants. According to the Brigham City Library, patrons can register for the program by visiting the library between June 1 and July 18.
Prizes and Log Requirements
Participants in the reading challenge can pick up age-specific activity logs to complete various tasks. The library announced that completed activity logs must be turned in by August 1, after which grand prize drawings will be held on August 3. Participants who turn in their logs are eligible to choose a small prize.
Upcoming Summer Storytime Sessions
In addition to the reading challenge, the library is hosting Summer Storytime sessions. A scheduled session for children ages 3 to 6 years old will take place on July 6 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. in the combined Rooms 1 and 2.
Storytime Program Activities
The storytime program includes 4ﺴ5 minutes of stories, activities, and crafts. The library requires a parent or caregiver to attend the session with the children.
