A vehicle ran off the roadway and struck the vehicles of a Utah Highway Patrol Trooper and a Beaver County Sheriff’s Deputy on I-15 in Beaver County, according to a Department of Public Safety press release.
The incident occurred while the two officials were investigating a crash on I-15 northbound at milepost 126. Both the Trooper and the Deputy were positioned on the left shoulder with their emergency lights activated at the time of the collision.
The deputy sustained minor injuries during the collision. The crash involved the vehicles of the UHP Trooper, the Beaver County Sheriff’s Deputy, and a third vehicle.
