The Apple Valley Planning Commission will hold a public hearing and meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2026, according to a notice published Oct. 1. The meeting is scheduled to commence at 6:00 PM at 1777 N Meadowlark Dr in Apple Valley.
The agenda for the meeting includes several hearings regarding road rights-of-way. The commission will consider a proposed vacation of portions of the Wildcat Road public right-of-way and a proposed Wildcat Road dedication. Additionally, the commission will hear a proposed dedication for Coyote Crossing Road regarding parcel AV-1-3-5-211.
The commission will also address a zone change for parcel AV-1365-I. The applicant, Alex Fledderjohn, is seeking to change the designation from an Open Space Transition Zone (OST) to an Agricultural 10 Acres Zone (AG-10) under Ordinance O-2026-23. This item is also listed for discussion and possible action. The meeting will also include a simple lot subdivision application for the same parcel, AV-1365-I.
The meeting will include the election of a Vice-Chair and the approval of minutes from the Sept. 9, 2026, Planning Commission hearing and meeting. Chairman Bradley Farrar will lead the session alongside commissioners Garth Hood, Stewart Riding, Dan Harsh, and Brooke Paxton.
