The Weber County Commission is scheduled to hold a work session meeting on Monday, Oct. 5, 2026, according to a notice published Oct. 2.
The meeting is set to take place in person at the Commission Office, Conference Room #365, located at 2380 Washington Blvd. Ste. 360 in Ogden, from 12:45 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The agenda for the upcoming work session includes several items for discussion and potential action. Commissioners will consider the approval of minutes from the Commission Work Session held on Sept. 21, 2026. Other agenda items include a discussion regarding adding a countywide privacy notice to email signatures and a data privacy update.
Additional topics scheduled for discussion include an update from the Sheriff's Office, the McKay-Dee Hospital Community Contribution Report, and discussions regarding opioid interest and a Cache County interlocal agreement.
The meeting will also involve discussions regarding various Human Resources policies. These include reviews of policies related to pay practices, performance management, harassment, discrimination, and retaliation, as well as grievance-appeals and standards of conduct.
Other HR-related topics on the agenda include the Career Service Council, employee recognition, and the Sheriff's Office pay policy for sworn staff, logout tagout, and bloodborne pathogens.
This meeting is designated as a public meeting but is not a public hearing, and officials stated that no public comments will be taken during the session.
