Shoreline recently held its first School Community Council meeting of the school year, according to a report published October 9.
The school also hosted its annual Career Day, which featured professionals from various fields to help students explore different career paths.
During Career Day, students attended four different presentations to learn about various professions. The event included professionals such as doctors, civil engineers, firefighters, chefs, barbers, journalists, musicians, actors, librarians, social workers, and professional athletes.
The counseling department, specifically Mrs. Bradley, was credited with the planning and hard work required to facilitate the experience.
Shoreline also held a monthly Pancakes with the Principals breakfast to celebrate students with birthdays in October. During the event, librarians provided students with a free book to encourage a love of reading.
Meeting minutes from the School Community Council meeting will be posted to the school website soon.
