The Talons' postseason qualification was confirmed following recent regular-season play, including a July 17 victory over the Cascade team. The roster features a coaching staff led by General Manager Lisa Fernandez, who returned for her second season after helping guide the franchise to its inaugural AUSL championship in 2025. Joining her is Head Coach Cindy Ball-Malone, who enters her first professional softball season after a collegiate coaching career at Boise State and UCF.
Team Identity and Staff
The Talons' identity is inspired by the Peregrine Falcon, a bird characterized by its speed and dominance. The team's coaching staff also includes Associate Head Coach Jo Koons and Assistant Coaches Will Oldham and Brandon Bantz. Both Koons and Oldham are returning for their second season with the organization after participating in the 2025 championship run.

The AUSL, which launched in June 2025, operates under the direction of Commissioner Kim Ng. The AUSL postseason is scheduled to begin on July 23, 2026, with a play-in game between the number two and number three seeds at Davis Diamond in College Station, Texas. The tournament will culminate in a series of championship games at Davis Diamond, with the final deciding match potentially occurring as late as July 27.
