Draper City will host the Bryan Thatcher Fire Prevention Safety Fair at Draper Park to observe Fire Prevention Week. The free event is scheduled for Monday, Oct. 5, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
The fair features various activities designed to provide lifesaving public education and decrease fire-related casualties. Scheduled demonstrations include live fire simulations and extrications. Attendees can also explore fire department vehicles and medical helicopters.
Children's activities will be available, including an opportunity to learn how to use a fire extinguisher and an appearance by the mascot, Axe. Food trucks will also be on site during the event.
