The Eureka City Council will hold a public hearing on Monday, Sept. 14, 2026, to discuss the surplus of city-owned property, according to a Sept. 2 notice.
The hearing is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. at the Eureka City Office, located at 15 North Church Street. The primary purpose of the meeting is to receive public comment regarding a request to declare a piece of city-owned property as surplus. The property in question lies adjacent to and between two lots owned by Irma Marcela Navarro Casasola. The request to declare the land surplus is intended to allow for the purpose of combining the lots.
The meeting will be available for participation via Zoom. Individuals requiring special accommodations for the meeting can notify the Eureka City Office at least three working days prior to the hearing.
