Dear Manti City Residents –
At Manti City, we are committed to keeping our neighborhoods safe, welcoming, and beautiful
for everyone. One way we can all help is by keeping our public streets and rights-of-way clear of
stored vehicles, trailers, and other personal property.
To help protect public safety, maintain visibility at intersections, and preserve the appearance of
our community, Manti City Code (10.01.030-G) prohibits the long-term parking or storage of
vehicles, trailers, boats, construction materials, landscaping materials, and other personal
property within city street rights-of-way. Vehicles and other items that are not in regular use
need to be stored on the owner's private property rather than along the street. Residents with
corner lots are also asked to help maintain clear sight lines by ensuring parked vehicles or
stored items do not obstruct visibility at intersections.
Beginning July 1, 2026, City staff will begin placing a 14-day courtesy notice on items that are
in violation of this ordinance. Our goal is to provide residents with time to relocate these items
and come into compliance before any enforcement action is necessary. If the items remain in
the city right-of-way after the 14-day notice period, citations may be issued in accordance with
the City ordinance.
If you have items that may require more than 14 days to relocate, or if you have questions about
this ordinance, please contact the City Office to discuss your situation or schedule a meeting
with City Manager Jason Brown. We are happy to work with residents whenever possible.
We appreciate your partnership in helping keep Manti City a safe, attractive, and enjoyable
place to live. By working together, we can maintain streets that are safer for drivers,
pedestrians, emergency responders, and our neighbors while preserving the character and
pride of our community.
Thank you for your cooperation and for helping make Manti City a great place to call home.
Sincerely,
Manti City
