The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) was scheduled to perform roadwork on SR-101 (300 North) in Hyrum starting Sept. 1, 2026, according to an August 27 statement. The work, located between 400 West and 600 West, involved placing asphalt and performing shoulder work to improve the road's durability and ride quality.
Construction was scheduled to begin at approximately 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2026, and was expected to conclude by 6 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2026. During this period, SR-101 was to be restricted to a single lane controlled by flaggers. Officials noted that schedules were subject to change due to weather conditions.
