Bank of Utah announced July 15 that it has hidden a $20,000 wallet somewhere in the state as part of its fourth annual treasure hunt. The bank stated that the person who finds the wallet will keep $10,000 and donate the remaining $10,000 to a charity of their choice.

The search began with an announcement on social media, inviting participants to follow clues to locate the hidden item. To assist treasure hunters, the bank is offering a head start to those who visit local Bank of Utah branches in person.
Branch Visit Details
According to the bank's announcement, participants can scan a QR code located at branch entrances to access the first clue before it is published on the company website. Additionally, the bank is providing free 'quester bandanas' to visitors at its branches, though these are available only while supplies last.
