Seven law students from the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law and BYU Law School joined the Kirton McConkie 2026 summer associate program.
The firm welcomed the group of bright and talented students to participate in its annual summer program.
Program goals and legal training
The summer associate program at KM is designed to provide quality, hands-on legal experience for future lawyers. During the program, associates collaborate with attorneys on actual billable work to prepare them for success in the legal industry.
Networking opportunities and professional connections
Through a commitment to collaborative work, associates are able to network with attorneys across more than 15 practice areas at the firm. The program aims to provide connections and experience that associates can use when they return to their studies.
Meet the 2026 summer class
The 2026 summer associate class included Emma Cummings, Aaron Zaugg, and Richard Scott from BYU Law School. Also joining the firm were O’Kara Kramer, Eliana Topham, Taha Benabdallah, and Hunter Bushman from the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law.
