The Cedar Mountain Service District Board of Trustees will hold a monthly meeting on Oct. 7, 2026, according to a public notice published Oct. 6. The meeting is scheduled to take place at 3620 N. Mammoth Creek Road in Duck Creek Village, Utah.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m. and conclude at 7:50 p.m. The agenda includes a call to order, a prayer, and the Pledge of Allegiance. Public participation is scheduled, though the notice states that no action will be taken on any item until it is properly agendized. Citizens wishing to speak are asked to state their name and limit comments to a minimal duration or no longer than two minutes.
The consent agenda for the meeting includes the approval of the Oct. 7, 2026, agenda, the minutes from the Sept. 2, 2026, Board Meeting, and September 2026 expenditures. Following the consent agenda, the board will hear several reports, including those from the Commissioner, Treasurer, Clerk, District Manager, Chief, and Personnel departments. The District Manager's report will cover dust, snow, facilities, and equipment, while the Chief's report will address Fire, EMS, and Wildland operations.
Specific action items on the agenda include reviewing and potentially approving repairs, equipment purchases, supplies, or staffing needs for Firefighting/EMS and Wildland operations. The board may also review PEHP health insurance plans for staff and discuss proposed adjustments prior to open enrollment. Additionally, the board may review and potentially approve updates to district policies, procedures, SOPs, SOGs, and EOGs.
