The Mountain Green Fire Protection Service District announced a vacancy on its Board of Trustees in a notice published August 19.
The Board of Trustees intends to fill the vacant position in accordance with applicable Utah law.
Qualified individuals interested in serving on the Board of Trustees are invited to submit their names for consideration. Submissions must be received by Tim Barnes via email at Barnes.t1@comcast.net by the deadline of Sunday, September 13, 2026.
The Board of Trustees will consider candidates for the position during a regularly scheduled public meeting on Monday, September 14, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. The meeting will be held at 4565 W Old Highway Rd. in Mountain Green, UT 84050.
The person appointed to the position will serve the remainder of the unexpired trustee term, subject to Utah law requirements. This notice was provided pursuant to Utah Code regarding filling midterm vacancies on special district boards.
