The Little Horse Fire, located southwest of Fruitland in Duchesne County, was estimated at 119 acres as of August 4. As of Wednesday evening, the fire reached a 20% containment level.
Evacuation orders for the area remain unchanged. These orders include Avintaquin Canyon to the Strawberry River and Morning Star Ranch. Currently, four evacuees remain displaced due to the fire.
Local officials have requested that the public avoid the area. Residents and visitors should follow instructions from local officials and remain alert for changing conditions and additional updates.
