The Syracuse Arts Academy Board of Directors is scheduled to hold a meeting on Oct. 1, 2026, according to a September 29 statement. The meeting will take place at 5:30 PM at the SAA North Campus located at 357 S 1550 W, Syracuse, UT 84075.
The meeting agenda includes an introductory session featuring a welcome and roll call by Mary Johnston, a presentation on the board mission by Nate Schow, and a presentation on the school mission by Kellie Mudrow. Following the introduction, public comments will be accepted, with individual comments limited to three minutes each.
Reports scheduled for the meeting include a financial update from Angie Young and a state of the school report from Kellie Mudrow. The board will also review the minutes from the Aug. 20, 2026, board meeting as a consent item.
Several items are slated for voting during the meeting. These include the amended Teacher Student Success Act (TSSA) framework, LEA specific licenses, a bleachers purchase, and the approval of interlocal cooperation agreements with Syracuse City. Kellie Mudrow is listed for several of these items.
Additional voting items include policy and plan amendments regarding attendance, bullying and hazing, fee waivers, financial reporting, and the financial, debt, and risk management plan. The board will also vote on the lottery and enrollment policy, student conduct and discipline policy, and the tuition reimbursement policy.
