Southern Utah University is launching a new Bachelor of Science in Professional Sales. Scheduled for fall 2026, the program will offer hands-on training to prepare students for high-impact careers.
The Dixie L. Leavitt School of Business has hosted various professional sales events, including the annual Thunder Sales Competition. Previous iterations of the event have included an all-day sales competition open to all majors and a pitch-competition inspired speed dating event held in March 2024.
The Professional Sales program has also participated in national competitions. The team secured second place at the National Collegiate Sports Sales Championship.
Other activities within the Dixie L. Leavitt School of Business include students in the Tax I course volunteering with Junior Achievement to provide financial literacy to elementary schools.
