The Amalga Planning and Zoning Commission has issued a notice for a public hearing regarding potential changes to the Amalga Land Management and Development Code, according to a September 18 notice.
The hearing, scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., will address the addition of an ordinance to define automotive service stations and fuel storage facilities in Amalga. Additionally, officials are considering an amendment to include these facilities as an acceptable use within the Light Industrial Zone, specifically under Code 7.4.1.
The meeting will be held at the Amalga Town Hall, located at 6590 N 2400 W, Amalga, UT 84335. Public comment is being accepted from the time of the posting until 10 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 4, 2026, to allow commission members time to review input before the hearing.
