The Hyrum City Planning Commission scheduled a public hearing for September 10, 2026, to discuss a proposed rezoning project, according to a August 26 statement. The hearing will focus on a property located at approximately 300 North 400 East.
The hearing was scheduled to take place at 6:30 p.m. in the Hyrum City Council Chambers, located at 60 West Main in Hyrum. The purpose of the meeting is to receive public comment regarding a request to rezone the area from a Residential Agriculture Zone RA to a Residential Zone R-2.
The proposed rezone involves a low to medium density Planned Unit Development. The plan includes varied lot sizes, common area, and community green space.
Copies of the proposed rezone were made available at the Hyrum City Office, 60 West Main, Hyrum, during weekday business hours between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Documentation is also available on the city website.
